Psychotherapy

My Approach

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy for individuals, which I also integrate with other psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy.

If you are new to psychotherapy, a psychodynamic approach means that we will look holistically at your life and work to understand your strengths and how to leverage those to help you grow, as well as patterns of behavior (or beliefs) that may have evolved earlier in your life to respond to certain situations back then, but may be holding you back in the present.

While a psychodynamic approach is primary in my therapy, I also integrate cognitive behavioral methods at times to understand how current thought patterns may impact or distort your perceptions of your life and relationships and how these patterns can be adjusted to help you better understand the realities of your present-day circumstances and a new approach for handling these realities.
