About Me

I believe that we all have a natural motivation to grow and learn throughout our lives. Ideally, this process unfolds naturally with the help of supportive family and friends. Yet circumstances, whether through significant loss and trauma or more day-to-day adverse experiences, can set all of us back, and may leave us with feelings of anxiety, despair or depression.

One of the most important questions anyone ever asked me was also one of the simplest, ‘What do you want to learn?’ Whether we are aware of it or not, we all make choices each day about the conversations we choose to have and how we grow from those conversations.

With this simple idea in mind, I try to create a therapeutic space that allows you to shape the conversations that will help you learn, grow and change in the ways you want. Sometimes it starts small but the process can build and gain momentum in unexpected ways. What I believe is foundational to the process is trust, respect, empathy and a belief that therapy can work in profound ways. Ways that will help you find greater fulfillment and meaning in your life and in the relationships you hold most dear.
